Do Not Spit
Just for fun I like to go to an on-line photo site and type in a off-the-cuff word and see what pictures I might find. Todays word was "spit" and this is one I found.I don't know what country this sign was in, but I was interested that wherever this was they made sure that probably Americans understood the sign. Many countries have laws against spitting. Americans on the other hand tend to spit with impunity. One of those cultural things, taboo in one place, normal in another.
Now, I can't ever know what any reader of this blog is doing in their own home, but this is my request. When reading my blog, Do Not Spit.

I like to spit. It is my god given right to hork up a lugey as I see fit.
Sure it's your right in America, but in some countries you could get a good beating for your lugey. I understand your freedom to spit, but maybe to paraphrase Marie Antonette, "you want to have your spit and eat it too."
I'm not ordring you to not spit, but just not to spit during reading of my blog. I want your total concentration on my words. I don't want you to be distracted by an errant spit that accidently dribbles down your chin, for instance.
By the way ST is great.
Correction; I paraphrased with a wrong attribution. Marie said "Let them eat cake." That paraphrase would be "let them eat spit." Who knows who said "you want to have your cake and eat it too."
